  A very sweet kindergartner brought me some beautiful mums today and we thought we would try a little experiment with them.  We put water and food coloring in some different cups and then put the white flowers in.  We made predictions about what we thought would happen.  These are some of our predictions:  The stem will turn blue. The one in red will turn the flower red. The one in plain water will grow.  

We will see what happens in the next few days!!
